HILLYER, Harold - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Harold B. Hillyer of the Stone Bluff community on RR 4, Veedersburg, age 81, died Monday evening, September 19, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was born at Rainsville, October 14, 1901, the son of Edgar I. and Eva Bussel Hillyer. September 24, 1927, he married Freeda Grames, who died January 25, 1964. June 7, 1969, he married Bertha Brooks Davis, who survives. A member of Veedersburg First United Methodist church, he had been a farmer and also employed at Radio Material Corporation, Central National Bank in Attica and Alcoa in Lafayette.

  Also surviving are a son, Richard of Attica; a sister, Julia Smiley of Pine Village; a grandchild, seven great grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. R. Larry Smith officiating. Burial was in Rainsville Cemetery. -s-
