Dale L. Hiller, 39, of Attica died unexpectedly of a heart attack Tuesday on a train en route to Detroit, Michigan for a visit and medical checkup with his brother, Dr. Glenn Hiller, & heart specialist.
Mr. Hiller was stricken between Attica and Lafayette.
Born March 18,1920 at New London, Wisconsin, he was the son of Norvil and Mary Inez Wilkinson Hiller. He was married to Marsha Sheron, who survives.
Mr. Hiller graduated from the Appleton, Wis., Schools and moved to Attica in 1942 where he became associated with the Cabinet Crafts, Inc.
He served in the Army in World War II in Europe, was wounded in action, and was discharged as a staff sergeant.
He returned to Attica and entered the general contracting business with his father, in Hiller & Son. He was a member of the First Methodist Church, VFW and American Legion Post at Williamsport.
Other survivors include two sons, Larry and Gary, and a daughter, Mary Sue, all at home; his father of Attica; two brothers, Dr. Hiller and Nyal Hiller of Attica; and a sister, Mrs. William Hurst of Attica. - jz
