... Ina Hightower died
Friday afternoon at the home of a son, Francis, north of Wingate. She was born at Danville, Illinois, September 16, 1904, the daughter of John and Lottie Smith Mount. May 21, 1938, she married Alfred Hightower, who died March 2, 1980. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church at Crawfordsville.
Survivors include two sons, Francis of Wingate and Paul Mount of Terre Haute; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Brown of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Skelley of Covington; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. M. L. Holland officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Wingate. – thanks to S
