Berle HIGGINS well known Veedersburg businessman suffered a heart attack on Friday, the day following Christmas while visiting his daughter and family, Mrs. Leah Mann near Indianapolis. Mr. Higgins who had been operating a Dry Cleaning plant at Thorntown in recent months will be confined to bed for a few weeks although he is showing improvement at the present time. His address will be at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leah Mann, Bx 411, Rt 1, New Augusta, Ind. The Dry Cleaning Plant will be sold due to the illness, according to Don Higgins who owns the Higgins Store in Veedersburg. – kbz
