Herschel HIDY of this city died Saturday evening at the home of his brother in Pennville, Ind where he had been visiting. The remains were shipped back to Attica for burial, arriving here over the Wabash Monday afternoon. The body was taken to the home of his son, Edgar Hidy on west Lithia Street where the deceased had been making his home the past few years. The funeral was conducted from the Hidy home Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock burial beingmade at Danville, Ill.
