HEYWOOD, Gladys - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss Gladys T. Heywood, 79, Hillsboro, died Tuesday, November 22, at Lane House Nursing Center in Crawfordsville.

  Born July 29, 1904 in Girardville, she was a daughter of Thomas and Laura Beecher Heywood. She moved to Hillsboro in 1967 after retiring from Woolworth’s in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Girardville, Pennsylvania High School and a member of Zion English Baptist Church in Girardville. She was a former member of Cain Township Home economics Club and Heritage Club Senior Citizens.

  Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Harlan Spicer of Hillsboro. She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

  Services were conducted Friday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Thomas Inabinett officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro. -s-
