HILLSBORO – Thryanza Hesler, 77, Hillsboro, died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 1997 in Williamsburg Health Care, Crawfordsville. She was born Aug. 29, 1919 in Sterling, Fountain County, the daughter of Thurman and Elizabeth Peveler Oilar. She married George T. Hesler, Nov. 14, 1942 in Crawfordsville. He survives. She retired from Sommers Metalcraft in 1984. Surviving, besides the husband, are: a daughter, Benita Runion, Veedersburg; a son, Sherrill (Susan) Hesler, Indianapolis; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clifford (Johnny) Oilar, Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Dickerson Funeral Home, Veedersburg, with Pastor Bud Stidham officiating. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery near Veedersburg. – jlr
