Hillsboro – Mrs. Elizabeth Hesler, 89, formerly of Rt 1, Hillsboro died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Golden Manor Nursing Home, Ladoga. Born near Veedersburg she attended VHS. A lifelong resident of this area, she lived at Rt 1 Hillsboro before moving to the home.  In 1944 she was married to Fred Hesler, who died in 1962.  Surviving are a son, Clifford Oilar of Denver, Colo; one daughter, Mrs. Thryanza Hesler of Rt 1, Hillsboro; two stepsons Elmer Hesler of Rt 1, Hillsboro and Berle Hesler of Mount Vernon; and a stepdaughter, Mary Olive Newton Rose Hill, Va.  - kbz

  Elizabeth Hesler of RR 1, Hillsboro, age 89, died Wednesday afternoon, June 1, in Golden Manor Nursing Home at Ladoga, where she had lived for three years. She was born near Veedersburg, September 6, 1893, the daughter of Len and Mae VanDeventer Peevler. In February 1944, she married Fred Hesler, who died in January of 1962. Survivors include a daughter, Thryanza Hesler of Hillsboro; a son, Clifford Oilar of Denver, Colorado; a stepdaughter, Mary Olive Newton of Rose Hill, Virginia; two stepsons, Elmer Hesler of Hillsboro and Berle Hesler of Mount Vernon; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery. – thanks so much to S
