HERSHBERGER, Marilyn Bush Cotton - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Marilyn V. Hershberger of Covington, age 56, died Tuesday night, August 16, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born in Fountain County, September 9, 1926, the daughter of Clyde and Hazel Cronk Bush. August 4, 1973, she married Roland Hershberger, who survives. A member of Orchard Hill Church of Christ and Newtown Order of Eastern Star, she was formerly employed at the Beef House.

  Also surviving are her mother, Hazel Kerst of Covington; a daughter, Linda Dean of Springfield, Illinois; two sons, Dan Cotton of Conroe, Texas, and Tim Cotton of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a stepdaughter, Sue Ann Webster of Lafayette; a brother, Merrill Bush of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren and three step grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Paul Kent officiating. Burial was in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. – thanks to S
