Mrs. Della Ethel Hershberger, 72, of Hillsboro, died early Saturday morning at the Westbrook Nursing Home in Crawfordsville where she had been a patient for three weeks.  She had been for several months.  She had been a, resident of Hillsboro for almost, 50 years.
Born April 25, 1887 near Newton, Illinois, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Anna Keys Bowman.  She was married to Ed Hershberger of Hillsboro, on Nov. 24, 1923, and all of their married life was spent here.
Mrs. Hershberger was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and of Fern Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are the husband, a sister, Mrs. Bertha Wilson of Hillsboro; a brother, Len Bowman of Clermont and a step-son, Henry Hershberger of Attica.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and Ed Bowman.
Funeral services were held at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Homer Cole,, pastor of the Christian Church, in charge.  Organ music was by Mrs. Mary Louise Newman and pall bearers were: Harry Rice, Lloyd Wilson, Edgar Wilson, Lloyd Bessell, Tom Hightower and Arlie Shafer.
Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.  - jz
