HERSHBERGER, Cora Schumacher - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Oxford – Cora C. Schumacher Hershberger, 79, died at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday in Home Hospital. She had been ill three years. Born and educated in Bartonia, she lived on a farm in Fountain County before moving to Oxford in 1973. Mrs. Hershberger worked in a glass factory at Marion and also a furniture factory in Michigan. In 1924 she married Vermont L. Hershberger who died in 1973. She was a member of Church of Christ, Oxford. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Pierce (Mildred) Holloway of Templeton, one sister, Mrs. Iva Sax of Owasso, Mich and one brother Francis Schumaker of Lansing, Mich.

Source: Same - Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Shipps-Konzelman Funeral Home, Oxford. Services there at 1 p.m. Saturday. Larry McMillan officiating. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington. Also surviving are 3 granddaughters. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. - kbz
