HERSHBERGER, Alice Butts - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Alice Hershberger, 71, died at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at her farm home 14 miles south of Veedersburg in the Jungle Park neighborhood. She had been ill for some time with a complication of diseases. Born June 10 1868 in Veedersburg, Mrs. Hershberger was the daughter of Jonathan and Hester Butt. She was married to Charles Hershberger and was a member of the United Brethren church. Surviving in addition to the husband, are four sons, Dorsey of near Veedersburg, Laurel of New Richmond, Monte of Kingman and Muriel of Grove Hill Ohio; three brothers, James and Monte Butt of Veedersburg, and Isaac Butt of Indianapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Fronia Logan of Veedersbujrg, Mrs. Gertrude Butt of Hillsboro and Mrs. Myrtle Bittner of Danville, Ill. - thanks to Betty D for this one :)
