Died – at the residence of his mother in Cain Township on April 4th, 1896 Moses Herriman aged 43 years. For a number of years the deceased has been afflicted with epilepsy; contracted while he was a soldier in the service of the United States. He was a harmless, inoffensive man upon whom the hand of God had been laid heavily and who we all devoutly hope will receive in that kingdom the peace and freedom from suffering that was denied him in this. His funeral was attended by a number of sympathizing friends. Requiescat in peace!
