HEPLER, Addison

Addison l. Hepler, 89, member of one of Kingman's pioneer families died Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the home in Kingman of his son, James Hepler. Mr. Hepler was born in Thomasville, NC Feb 4, 1849, a son of David and Mary Hepler. When he was 10 years old his parents moved to Indiana by covered wagon, settling about 5 miles east of Kingman. He lived there until 1872 when he married Laura Maimic and moved to the vicinity of Tangier. In 1897 they moved to Kingman. Mrs. Hepler died several years ago. Mr. Hepler was a member of the Old Oak Chapel church, now removed and the Masonic order. Surviving in addition to the son at whose home he died, are a stepdaughter, Mrs. William Briggs of Kingman, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the UB Church in Kingman at 10:30 o'clock.
