HENTHORN, Alt French - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Alt Henthorn, 89, Waynetown, died at 3:26 a.m. Sunday, December 18, at Lane Home Nursing Care Center in Crawfordsville.

  Born October 31, 1894 near Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Thomas and Nancy Ridden French. On August 7, 1912 she married Edgar L. Henthorn, who died in April of 1979. She had resided in the Waynetown community for 70 years and was a charter and 50 year member of Waynetown Order of Eastern Star 435 and had served as Worthy Matron. She was a member of Christian Church of Waynetown.

  Survivors include a son, Carl F. Henthorn of Crawfordsville; and six grandchildren.

  Services were conducted Wednesday at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. George Beatty officiating. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. -s-
