Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg for William Earl Hensley, 82, of 500 S. Main, Veedersburg. He died at 6:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis. The Rev. Max Paddock officiated. Burial was in Wolfe Creek Cemetery at Wallace. He was a World War II veteran and a retired coal miner and factory worker. He was born April 15, 1902, in Westville, Ill., the son of Ira William and Mae Miller Hensley. Survivors include a son, Lavone, Veedersburg; a sister, Hazel Myers, Route 1, Bloomingdale; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Two sisters preceded him in death. -s-
