Otto F. Hensley, 75, of Cates, Ind. died Sept. 9th at 1:15 p.m. at the residence of a son in Cates, Ind. He was born Oct, 22, 1900 in Illinois, the son of Herman and Lucinda Carrigan He was married to Lora B. Halroyd on July 14, 1947. She preceded him in death in January of 1975. He was a retired roofer, an Army Veteran of WW I and II, having served at the Battle of the Bulge in WW II. He was a member of the Cayuga American Legion, having been a Cayuga resident most of his life. He had been living with his son in Cates since January of this year. He is survived by five children, Leon of Reno, Nevada; Ray of Cates, Ind.; Mrs. Patsy Duprey of Veedersburg; Joann Bowling of Cates, Ind.; and Mrs. Elenor Staley of South Carolina, 13 grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Mary Ann Gill of Danville.
