HENRY, Squire B. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

March 25, 1938 Squire B. Henry, born in Fountain county Aug. 31, 1862. The son of Abraham and Sarah Short Henry. Grandson of Aaron Short and Hiram Henry. Born and raised within four miles of Wingate. I was one of a family of six children, three boys and three girls. I united with the Christian church of Mellott in the winter of 1883-1884. Married Minnie Ellen Lane Oct. 4, 1891, who passed beyond Jan. 23, 1919. Two daughters, Zanza Oleta and Ruth, preceded their mother in death. I moved to Wingate in January, 1900, and have lived here ever since. I have at this writing two sisters, Rozella Brown of Fountain county and Lillie Lang of Danville, Ill. I have four sons and eight grandchildren. One son, Glenn A., of California, passed away in the year, 1940. Card of Thanks We wish to thank friends and neighbors, Rev.
