VEEDERSBURG -- James F. Hendrix, 79, a former Veedersburg resident, died at 5 p.m. Friday in the Indianapolis General Hospital. He had lived in Indianapolis for the past 30 years. He was born Oct. 3, 1881, and spent his early life in Veedersburg. In 1903 he married Jane Price here. For many years he was superintendent of the Veedersburg Brick Co. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Tune of Indianapolis, Mrs. Mary Decker of New Castle, Penn., and Mrs. Mildred Green of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Two sons preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Ralph Sell at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Fishero Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery.  --typed by Walt W
