HILLSBORO -- Mrs. LaVona Hendrickson, 82-year-old retired practical nurse, died Friday night in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She had been a patient there one day. Mrs. Hendrickson had been a resident of Hillsboro 25 years. A licensed practical nurse, she was employed at the Rockville State Sanitarium and was engaged in private nursing duty. She was a member of the Prairie Chapel Church near here and the Prairie Chapel Ladies Aid. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Born Aug. 12, 1889, near Hillsboro, she was a daughter of Nelse and Viola Bloomfield Lough. Her only survivors are two nephews, Marvin Lough of Rt. 2, Waynetown, and Robert Lough of Wheatridge, Colo., and two nieces, Mrs. Oveta Williams of Indianapolis and Mrs. Wilma Jean Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colo. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here with Rev. Thomas Linton of Lebanon officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.  --- typed by Walt W
