Hillsboro-Funeral services for Roy E. Hendricks, 81, Carmel, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday. Masonic services will be conducted at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Friday. Mr. Hendricks died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in Riverview Hospital at Noblesville. He was a retired employe of Gibson Auto Accessories Co. at Indianapolis and was a member of the Carmel United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge at Indianapolis. Born Nov. 6, 1888, in Greene County, he was a son of William W. and Nancy Parsons Hendricks. He was married in October of 1912 to Daisy Davidson of Hillsboro. Mrs. Hendricks died in 1956. He attended high school at Greenfield and had resided in Carmel the past 48 years. Surviving are a son, William D. Hendricks of Arcadia; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Ward of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
