Aveline Hendricks, 93 of 86 Milligan Street died at 5:35 a.m. Saturday in Culver Union Hospital. She was a telephone operator. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Women's Society of Christian Service of hwich she was a member for 40 years, Builder's Class and Tleephone Pioneers of America. She was educated in Wallace School. She was born March 6, 1901 in Fountain County to Charles and Minnie May Dvis Watson. She married Ernest Joe Hendricks on March 28, 1922 in Waynetown. He died June 28, 1995. Survivors include a son, Robert L. of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Jean Slattery of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Vera Utterback of Crawfordsville and Mary Carpenter of Wallace; a brother, Lloyd Watson of Muncie, Ind; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. The funeral is scheduled for 3 pm today in Burkhart Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Morrical officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. The family requests donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church. - kz
