HENDERSON, Jessie Pogue - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Jessie Pearl Henderson, 91, Augustana Home, Chicago, Ill., died Sunday morning (Nov. 9, 1975) at the Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago. She had been a patient at the Home for 10 years. She was formerly of Danville, Ill. She was born Dec. 26, 1883, in Mellott, the daughter of William Franklin and Alvira Hicks Pogue. She married in 1902 to Clint Henderson. He died in 1946. Surviving are two sons, Louie Henderson, Covington, and Lowell Henderson, Chicago, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter three brothers and one sister. She was a member of the Christian Church of Mellott. Graveside services at the Newtown Cemetery, with Rev. Robert H.
