HELMS, Dorothy Maree

DOROTHY MAREE HELMS, daughter of Deal E. and Estel D. Helms, was born Sept. 4, 1910 and departed this life April 16, 1914, aged 3 years, 7 months and 12 days. Dorothy was a bright, kind and affectionate little girl, and to know her was to love her. She bore her long sufferings with much patience, and struggled bravely against the fell destroyer but the pale horse and his rider triumphed. She leaves a father, mother, two brothers, Ralph and Gordon, and a host of friends to morn their loss, but we are consoled with the thought that our loss is her eternal gain. The sound of her voice will not again be heard in the home, but the thoughts of her with us will linger, the years will come and go, but we will not forget Dorothy. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. McHargue of Kingman, the remains being conveyed by gentle hands to the funeral car in waiting, then borne to Kingman Fraternal cemetery, and there, among beautiful flowers, laid to rest. -- S
