Mary Lagretta Heimann, of 300 South Brady Street, Attica, passed away Thursday morning, October 21, 1971, at 3:30 a. m. at Community hospital in Williamsport, where she had been a patient since Sunday. She was born at Otterbein, Indiana, on Dec. 14, 1896, the daughter of Phillip and Sylvia McGahn Mann. She had resided in Attica since 1965. She was married Dec. 17, 1917 at the home of her parents in Green Hill to Norman Davis Heimann, who preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1959. He was employed as chief accountant for the New York Central Railroad. She was graduate of Attica High School, and had recently been employed as a clerk at Rozell's Drug Store. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Chapter No. 125, Order of Eastern Star. Only this week she had been proclaimed "Working Woman of the Year" by the local B. & P. W. Club. She was formerly a trustee of the Attica Methodist Church and had been granted a life membership in one of the ladies Circles. She was presently serving as Chaplain in the Attica O. E. S. Survivors include a son, William J. Heimann of Westchester, Ind., and a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Patricia) Bloomer of Orland Park, Ill., eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Friends will be received at the Dale Maus Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Friday. OES services at the Funeral Home at 7:30 p. m. Friday. Funeral services at the Maus Funeral Home Saturday at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Harold Bachert officiating. Burial in Riverside cemetery. --waw
