"Death of Wm. T. Hegg"

After an illness dating back some five years ago, at which time an operation was performed, and after having been confined to his home since last May, Wm. T. Hegg died at his home in this city Monday evening at 7 o'clock from a complication of diseases. Mr. Hegg was a masonry contractor, having worked at the trade for over thirty years. He had been contracting for hiself for over twenty-five years. Mr. Hegg was a member of the I.O.O.F., K of P, K.O.T.M. and Red Men lodges, the first two having charge of the funeral service. The son of Nicholas and Johonna Hegg, he was born May 5, 1864, died September 7, 1914, at the age of 50 years 4 months and 2 days. He was married to Nora M. Harris October 11, 1888. To this union was born two children, Lyle and Lera, both of this city. He leaves besides the wife and two children one brother, Albert Hegg, of this city. Mr. Hegg was the last of a family of 11 children. He had hundreds of friends, and the sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence with Rev. Strecker in charge. Burial followed in Mt. Hope cemetery.
