HEGG, Ruth Wilson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ruth Earle Hegg, 1030 Orchard Drive, Covington, died 5:20 a.m. Sunday, June 1, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient six hours.

  She was born May 4, 1921, at Crawfordsville, daughter of Earle Williard and Rose Kelsy Wilson. She married William C. Hegg on July 28, 1940, and he survives.

  Also surviving are two sons, Clifford Hegg and William C. Hegg Jr., both of Danville, Ill.; two grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mable Hegg, Covington. She was preceded in death by her parents.

  She graduated from Covington High School in 1940 and had resided in Covington the past three years, formerly residing at Danville, Ill. She was a member of First Church of Christ.

  Her funeral will be Wednesday, June 4, 2 p.m. at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. James Daniel officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, Ill. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday and after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
