COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) - DeVon E. Hegg, 65 formerly of Covington, Ind., died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 25, 1971) in a hospital in Dallas, Tex., where he had been a patient since May. He had been in ill health a year. Mr. Hegg had been superintendent of the Covington Light and Water Company, and had worked in Loeb's Department Store in Covington and in a department store in Danville. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Covington, and St. Andrew Catholic Church in Fort Worth, Tex. He resided in Fort Worth after moving from Covington. He was born April 21, 1906 in Covington, a son of Albert M. and Hannah Ellis Hegg. Survivors include his wife, the former Ann Kientz, and three sons, Albert and Harold both of Covington, James of Moline, Ill., and a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Christine) Gross, of Covington; eight grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Edna Bellis, of Logansport. His parents and two brothers preceded him in death. Visitation will be Sunday at Shannon's-South Funeral Home in Fort Worth. Rosary will be there Sunday evening. Services will be Monday morning at St. Andrew Church in Fort Worth, with burial in Laura Land Cemetery. --waw
