HEDGES, Gertie Moore - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Gertie Hedges of St. Croix Beach, Minnesota, formerly of Kingman, age 94, died Saturday, May 14, in Wildwood Nursing Home at St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the daughter of George and Effie Bacus Moore and the widow of Solomon W. Hedges. Mrs. Hedges was a graduate of Kingman High School and taught a few years at Perrysville before going to Minnesota.

  Surviving are two sons, George B. of Dalton, Pennsylvania, and Russell of California; a sister, Clare Francoeur of Adrian, Michigan; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Metsker of Kingman.
