Charles Heacock died this afternoon at the home of his stepdaughter, Maggie Heacock in “The Beehive” on Union Street after an extended illness. He was not considered serious however and was up and down yesterday and dismiss the physician that had been attending him. He was about 60 years of age and has no surviving relatives nearer than cousins. He was born and reared near Newtown. ---transcribed by kbz
