Ruth “Pauline” Hayn, 74 of Danville, Ill died Tuesday Dec 16, 1997 in Champaign, Ill. Born Sept 30, 1923, west of Collison, Ill to Charles Sylvester and Flora Elizabeth Adams Waugh. She had formerly worked for Bob Jones at the Colonial Parkway. She enjoyed knitting and sewing. She married Frank Lewis Hayn Aug 9, 1982. He preceded her in 1988. Survivors include two sisters, Nettie Randall of Danville, Ill and Bonnie (Delmar) Bergland of Rossville, Ill; three brothers, C. Gene Waugh of Danville, Ill; E. Keith (Henrietta) Waugh of Lady Lake, Fla and William “Espie” Waugh of Mt. Carmel, Ill; two stepsons, Frank Hays Jr of Covington and Andrew Hayn; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents, two sisters, Louise Aug and Frances Waugh and a brother, Jewell Waugh. Services were Friday Dec 19, 1997 at Pape Memorial Home & Gardens, Danville, Ill with Pastor Donald F. Thornton officiating. Burial was in Emory Cemetery, Collision. - kbz
