HAYMAN, Ruby Martin - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ruby M. Hayman of RR 3, Veedersburg, age 76, died Thursday morning, September 9, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. She was born near Covington, May 21, 1906, the daughter of Edward and Bessie Price Martin. February 20, 1929, she married Lowell Hayman, who died June 10, 1981. Mrs. Hayman was a member of Newtown Community Church, United Methodist Women, Richland Home Economics Club and a neighborhood birthday club. She was a graduate of Covington High School.

  Surviving are three daughters, Lola May Simmerman of Covington, Mary Royal of Emerson, Nebraska, and Martha Kelley of RR 4, Veedersburg; three sons, Arthur L. of RR 3, Veedersburg, James of Lafayette and Donald of Covington; a brother, John E. Martin of Brownsburg; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Newtown Community Church with Rev. Craig A. Bex officiating. Burial was in Newtown Cemetery. Maus Funeral Home in Attica was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
