Lester Hayman, 49, died at his home in Covington Wednesday afternoon after being ill for the past three months. The family lived in the Campbell Chapel neighborhood for many years.
He was the son of Grant and Martha Ballah Hayman and was born in Warren County May 18, 1807. He was married to Dorothy Ellis in 1930.
Surviving is the wife, two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Allen of Hillsboro, Mrs: Betty Kruger of Veedersburg, a son, Wayne of Covington, the mother, also of Covington, a sister Mrs. Bertha Tayne of Stone Bluff, two brothers, Lowell and Lloyd, both of Veedersburg and 4 grandchildren.
Mr. Hayman was a farmer most of his life and was a member of the K. of P. Lodge of Covington.
The body was taken to the family residence in Covington where friends may call. Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Covington with burial in Mound Cemetery. The body will lie in state 1 hour before the services. - jz
