Reelsville -- Jack Hayman, 55, Reelsville died Thursday Sept 23, 1999 at Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle.  Born Oct 21, 1943 in Veedersburg he was the son of Lloyd and Mary (McLaughlin) Hayman.  He married Phyllis (Morton) Hayman in 1962, who survives.  He was a 1961 graduate of Veedersburg HS. He attended Porter College in Indianapolis.  He was owner of Hardee's Restaurant franchies in Cloverdale, Greencastle, Spencer, Rockville and Clinton.  He was also a member of the Cloverdale Optimist Club; Moose Lodge 1592 in Greencastle; Cloverdale Area Chamber of Commerce; Greencastle Chamber of Commerce and an active supporter of Putnam County 4-H and youth activities.

Survivors include sons, Eric Hayman, Cloverdale; Scott (Amber) Hayman, Cloverdale; sister, Ethel Harvey, Martinsville; brother Charles (Jennie) Hayman, Veedersburg and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Lloyd Hayman, Jr.  Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale with Rev. Tim Davis officiating. Burial was at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery in Greencastle - kbz
