Attica – Mrs. Mildred (Byers) Hayes, 54, wife of Hugh E. Hayes, Attica, died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette where she had been a patient for 8 weeks. Born at Portsmouth, Ohio, she was married in 1920. She was a member of the Christian Church and Pythian Sisters. Surviving with the husband is a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Balser, Lafayette – kbz
