Evah Rowenah Richardson Hayes 82, Attica, died 9:30 a.m. Tuesday July 2, St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient 5 days. Born July 13, 1885, Washington County IN she was the daughter of ES & Larve (Lemmon) Richardson and married Omer Hayes in 1905. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Attica and the Rebekah Lodge. They moved to Attica from Campbellsburg IN in 1922. Surviving are four sons: Maurice Hayes of Danville; Harold and Harold, both of Attica; Claire Eugene Hayes of Indianapolis; one daughter, Miss Francis LaRue of Attica; 1 brother, Claire Richardson of Campbellsburg; 3 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Thursday at Reumer ? Chapel at Attica. Rev. Harry Randolph officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery here. (thanks Dellie)
