COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Ruth E. Hayden, 77, a life resident of the Covington community, died at 1 a.m. yesterday (July 13, 1969) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville. She had been a patient there three days. She had been ill a year and seriously ill one week. Born Nov. 28, 1891, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of James and Katie Barkley Baldwin. She was married in 1911 to John F. Hayden, who survives. She attended the Bethel Full Gospel Church. Survivors also include three daughters, Mrs. Doris High of Cayuga, Mrs. Jeanne Goodwin of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Betty Olson of Fort Wayne; a son, John of Covington; a brother, Lowell "Bus" Baldwin of Attica; three sisters, Mrs. Roberta Cripe of Covington, Mrs. Zola Stomm of New Carlisle and Mrs. Genneve Elgin of Des Plaines, Ill.; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Bethel Full Gospel Church. The Rev. Roger Simmons will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The body is at the Hegg Funeral Home. Friends will be received after noon Tuesday. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. --typed by Walt W
