HAYDEN, Marvin

Marvin Hayden, 25 years old, died at the home of his mother, Mrs. James Hayden, four and one half miles south of here at 8 o'clock Saturday night, following an illness of one week with pneumonia which developed as a complication of influenza.
He was born March 13, 1897, the son of James and Maret Coble Hayden, near Grange Corner.
He was unmarried. He is survived by his mother, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Barker, Mrs. Rose Stalker and Mrs. Nettie Keller, all of near Wallace and three brothers, Charles and Jesse of near Wallace, and Samuel of Attica.  He was a member of the Knights of Pythias; and Grand Army of the Republic (GAR)
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church, four miles So. of Wallace, in charge of Rev. Albert Tomlinson.
Interment will be in the Cemetery nearby.   -- typed by kbz
