COVINGTON, Ind. — Mrs. Dorothy Hay, 67, of Covington, died at 5:45 a.m. today (April 24, 1970) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill., where she had been a patient seven days. Mrs. Hay was born Aug. 16, 1902, daughter of Louis and Lucerutia Donaldson Stroud. She was married to Audra Hay Aug. 25, 1920, and he preceded her in death Feb. 6, 1969. Surviving are six sons, Gene of Covington, Jim of Catlin, Ill., Robert and Curtis, both of Perrysville Route 1, Richard of Marshfield, Charles of Perrysville; a brother, John Hicks of Tallahassee, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Minneer of Tallahassee; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hay was a member of the EUB Church, Royal Neighbors and Rebekah Lodge. Services will be at 2 p.m. EDT Sunday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, with the Rev. William Rudd officiating. Burial will be in Lower Mound Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. EST today at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
