Mrs. Lessie G. Haworth, 89, a resident of 605 E. Jackson since 1908, died at the Miller Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth, Tuesday (July 28, 1970). She had been a patient there two years. The daughter of Tilman H. and Mary E. Skeeter Smith, she was born April 2, 1881, in Parke County. She was married to William Wallace Haworth Dec. 2, 1908, in Paris. Mr. Haworth who died April 10, 1955, was a contractor in Attica. Mrs. Haworth was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, William Maxwell Haworth of Rochester; a daughter, Mrs. Grace Ann Carr of Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Usselman of Whiting and Mrs. Jessie Pittenger of North Manchester; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services Thursday at the DeSutter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Bachert officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery. --waw
