Attica— (CNS) — Mrs. Rebecca Kathren Lashbrook Hawkins, 75, died at 8:30 p. m. Monday (Oct. 31, 1949) at Community Hospital, Williamsport. She was ill 10 weeks of a heart ailment. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Ferguson Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Anthony Giordano officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg. Mrs. Hawkins was born Jan. 22, 1874, in Danville, daughter of James and Eliza Nelson. She was married June 12, 1924, to Harmon Hawkins, who survives. They spent their married life in Veedersburg and Attica. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Other survivors are seven children, Mrs. Ralph Roach, Veedersburg; Mrs. Hazel Rice, Attica; Truman and Willis Lashbrook, Brazil, Ind.; Mrs. Edna Blankenship, Akron, Ind.; Lawrence Lashbrook, Chicago, and Garnett Lashbrook, Lafayette.
