Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.
From newspaper dated Wednesday Evening, October 20, 1965

WEST LEBANON -- Miles Haupt, 61, of 1721 S. 5th Ave., Maywood, Ill., formerly of West Lebanon, died in West Lake Memorial Hospital, Melrose Park. He was vice president of Lamb, Little & Co., insurance brokers. Surviving with the widow, Hattie, are a son, Miles W. Jr.; his mother, Mrs. Maude Haupt, a long-time resident of West Lebanon vicinity and now in a Chicago nursing home, and a brother and two sisters. He was a West Lebanon High School graduate and all of his younger days resided near West Lebanon. Funeral services were held in Danville, Ill. for Mrs. Jessie Compton, 72. She was the nurse who lived in West Lebanon for several years and cared for the late Finley Mow. Mrs. Sam Anderson of West Lebanon and Annis Morlin of Marshfield received word of the death of their brother, Lester Morlin, 56, of West Lafayette. Lester Morlin was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morlin who lived near Marshfield.  --typed by Walt W
