Williamsport -- Funeral services for Fred Raymond Haupt, age 88, a life resident of the West Lebanon community, who died early Saturday, Nov. 9, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at the West Lebanon Christian Church. The Rev. Fred Schreiber officiated. Burial was in West Lebanon Cemetery. Mr. Haupt had been a patent at the hospital two days. Born Aug. 10, 1875, in Warren County, he was the son of Henry and Sarah Crawford Haupt. He was married to Floy McInnes Feb. 3, 1904 and she survives. Mr. Haupt retired from farming 15 years ago, and since that time had been employed as a seed corn salesman in the West Lebanon area. Survivors include a son, Ortan Haupt of Des Moines, La.; a sister, Mrs. Sada Stephens of Williamsport and several nieces and nephews. --typed by Walt W
