VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Della Haupt, 69, died at 2 a. m. Tuesday (April 19, 1960) at the Ingram Nursing Home in Covington where she had been a patient two weeks following several years of failing health. Born May 16, 1890 on a farm west of Veedersburg, she was the daughter of Nathanial and Rosetta Hershberger Clark. She was married to Simon Haupt, who survives. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Doris Hutts of Lafayette, Mrs. Lois Smith of Union Pier, Mich., and Mrs. Betty Sunquist of Oxford; four sons, Paul and Ralph, both of Lafayette, Clark of Fort Wayne and Gordon of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Ralph of Covington, and a sister, Mrs. Florence Brown of New Richmond. The body is at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home where arrangements are incomplete.  --

VEEDERSBURG – Mrs. Della Haupt, 69, died Tuesday morning at the Ingram Nursing Home at Covington. She had been a patient there two weeks and had suffered ill health for several years. She was born in Fountain county May 16, 1890, a daughter of Nathaniel Clark and Rosetta Hershbarger Clark. She was married to Simon Haupt, who survives. Other survivors are: three daughters, Mrs. Doris Hutts of Lafayette, Mrs. Lois Smith of Union Pier, Mich., and Mrs. Betty Sunquist of Oxford, Ind.; four sons, Paul and Ralph of Lafayette, Clark of Fort Wayne and Gordon of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Ralph Clark of Covington and one sister, Mrs. Florence Bowers of Wingate. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p. m. Thursday at the Sterling Christian Church with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating.
