Attica, July 26 – Harry F. Hatton, 51 – regular US Army Veteran died at Veteran’s Hospital, Evansville Sunday evening. He had been a patient there for three years and served six years in the regular army until Feb 1916 when he was given a disability discharge. Born April 18, 1886 he was the son of Frank and Emma (Cole) Hatton and is survived by the mother, living two miles east of Attica; two sisters, Miss Inez Hatton at home and Mrs. Ethel McCord of Los Angeles, Calif. The body was to arrive this evening being taken to the family home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon; burial in Riverside cemetery. – kbz
