June W. Hathaway of Danville, Illinois, age 79, died Tuesday evening, January 13, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville. He was born in Covington, May 3, 1901, the son of Abraham and Mary Hathaway. September 24, 1955, he married Dorothy Martin, who survives.

  A retired conductor for the New York Central Railroad, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen and Old Rail and New Ties. He attended Vermilion Heights Christian Church.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Christfalo of Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Beverly Wendell of Danville, Illinois; two sons, Richard Hathaway of Reseda, California, and Ronald Glass of Danville; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday morning at Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. Kenneth Bostwick officiating. Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. – thanks to S
