Funeral services for Walter Hatch were held at his home in Veedersburg Monday. The Rev. C. H. Bushing officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. Ballah. Flower bearers were the nieces and granddaughters. Pall bearers were Harold Mitton, James Williams, Charles Wilson, Pearl Blacketer, Lonnie Waldridge and Elmer Richmond. Burial was in the Fraternal Cemetery with the Fishero Funeral Home in charge. – S&E

Walter Hatch, 71, employed at the Veedersburg Clay Products Company, died at his home Saturday evening (Nov. 26, 1949). He had been seriously ill three weeks. Mr. Hatch was born Oct. 28, 1878 in Indiana. He is survived by his wife, Dora Woodrow Hatch and the following children: Truman, Veedersburg, Mrs. Dorothy Swain, Cayuga, Mrs. Della Wilson, Perrysville, Mrs. Mary Blacketer, Cates, and Evelyn and Bernice, at home. Also two brothers, John and Ira, Near Cayuga, and a sister, Miss Lula Hatch, Newport, survive. Prior to moving to Veedersburg three years ago, Mr. Hatch and his family had resided at Kingman. – S&E
