Veedersburg -- William H. Harwood, who spent his early life in Veedersburg, died at his home in Fort Worth, Tex., Wednesday, May 15 according to word received by a niece, Mrs. Sylvia Robinette of Veedersburg. In failing health during the past year, he had suffered a series of strokes. He was the last member of his family. Four brothers preceding in death were Everett, George, Bert and Otis, all Veedersburg residents. Surviving relatives includes his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Rutledge; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, also the niece, Mrs. Robinette. Funeral services and burial were in Texas. --typed by Walt W
