Richard Joseph Harvey, 17, died at about 6 p.m., Tuesday, in an accident at the Williamsport Falls. A coroner’s inquest was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon to determine the details of the accident. It was believed the youth’s death was caused by his falling over the falls, about 60 to 70 feet.

  Richard lived with his aunt, Mrs. Patricia (Dee Dee) Davis, now of 103 Suzie Lane, Attica, since he was a child.

  He was born on September 23, 1960 in Danville, Ill. and he had been a resident of Williamsport most of his life. He was a resident of Attica since June of this year and was a junior at Attica High School.

  He is survived by his father, Benny Frank Harvey, Sr., of Danville, Ill.; his mother, Mrs. David (Judith) Harvey Rotrameal of Danville; one sister, Mrs. Penny Sue Stone, of Danville; two brothers, Benny Frank Harvey, Jr. of Cannon Air Force Base, Cloves, New Mexico; Shawn Robert Harvey of Danville, Ill.; three half sisters and two half brothers; his paternal grandfather, Frank Harvey of Alvin, Ill. and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Verle Morgan of Danville.

  Friends may call at the Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be in the Fisher Chapel at 1 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Danville, Ill.
