Veedersburg - Leonard Brooks Harvey, 56, Rt 3, Veedersburg died in Community Hospital, Williamsport at 5:30 a.m. Friday. He was ill 9 months and a patient in the hospital two weeks.  Born at Summer Shade, Ky he had lived in the Veedersburg area since 1941 and worked at the Bowman Standard Service station for 11 years. He was married to Nora Taylor at Fairbury, Ill in 1930.

Surviving with the widow are five sons: Allan of Thorntown and Earl, Jerry, Michael and Toby, all of Veedersburg, four daughters, Mrs. Charles Hayman and Mrs. Frank Smith of Veedersburg, Mrs. Richard Beedle of Williamsport and Vickie, at home; a brother, Glen of Piper City Ill and four sisters, Mrs. Permie Butler of Fairbury; Mrs. Clara Wierts of Cissna Park, Ill; Mrs. Mary Holsclair of Saybrook, Ill and Mrs. Ruth Brown of Columbia City.

Funer Notices - Leonard B. Harvey - Friends may call at DeSutter Funeral Home, Attica after 5 p.m. Sunday. Services thre at 2 p.m. Monday, the Rev. George Pehlps of Newtown Baptist Church officiating; interment in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. 21 grandchildren survive. - kbz
